Warranty FAQ:
Do the computers come with a warranty?
- Standard warranty for computers is 2 years RTB Warranty.
- All computers come with 2 years telephone technical assistance.
- Warranties only covers hardware, not software issues.
What is not covered under warranty?
Problems that are beyond our control such as:
- Software configurations relating to drivers and operating systems
- Viral infections
- Power surges
- Accidental physical damage
- Bios passwords
- The warranty does not cover software configuration issues that might be caused due to a virus or deletion of files.
- If your power supply is damaged due to a power surge then we are unable to cover that under warranty (we recommend that you use a surge protector to eliminate this problem)
- Accidental damage that might be caused by mistreatment (E.g. dropping the computer while removing it from the box).
What if I am having problems and my warranty has expired?
- Contact us with the fault description and we might be able to offer you a repair at a discounted price, or offer you advice on the best way out.
What happens if I receive my order and it's faulty or damaged?
- All of our equipment is extensively tested prior to dispatch/pickup.
- If the goods are physically damaged during transit (as long as the customer has opted to insure the delivery) we will organise for a courier to pick up the equipment and have it sent/ brought to us. As soon as we receive the goods we will confirm the damage and send you a replacement as soon as the courier has accepted the insurance claim. You must keep the original packaging as evidence of freight damage.
- If the hardware is faulty within 7 days of receiving the parcel we will organise for a courier to pick up the equipment and have it brought back to us. As soon as we receive the goods we will confirm the fault and send you a replacement. If it is found that the fault is not with the hardware (i.e. a driver issue) we will expect you to cover the cost of the shipping in both directions. Be sure to contact technical support before sending the computer back to us, so that they can confirm the fault.
What's RTB Warranty?
- RTB warranty is Return To Base warranty. The customer is responsible for sending the goods back to our warehouse for repairs. Once the job is completed we will send the equipment back to you at our cost.
- If we cannot repair or replace the equipment within 14 working days of receiving the goods we will replace the product with something similar or better.
- If you are experiencing problems that are beyond our warranty cover (Virus, drivers, deleted OS files) then a service fee will apply along with delivery charges.
Will you install my software if I provide you with the media?
- We can install licenced software on your computer or laptop, provided that you supply us with the original media (CDs, DVDs) along with serial/activation keys. Our standard service fee of £19.99 inc. VAT applies to all software installations.
